The service

ToolFees provides free online calculators that estimate the fees charged by third-party platforms (including payment processors, marketplaces and freelance platforms) and related business calculations such as return on ad spend, break-even points and markup. Calculators run in your browser and require no account.

Estimates, not advice

Every result on this site is an estimate for planning purposes, calculated from the platform rates published at the date shown on the page. Platforms change their fees, apply category- and account-specific pricing, and negotiate custom rates, so your actual fee may differ. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and you should confirm any figure that matters against the platform’s own current pricing and, where appropriate, with a qualified professional.

No affiliation

ToolFees is independent. Stripe, PayPal, Square, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Upwork, Fiverr, Venmo, Cash App, Western Union, Airbnb, Amazon and all other names and marks used on this site belong to their respective owners; their use is for identification only and does not imply endorsement of this site by those companies, or of those companies by us.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep rates current (see the About page for our verification process) but we do not warrant that any figure is complete, current or error-free, and the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or withdraw any calculator at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a calculation on this site.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely for your own business or personal purposes, and link to any page. You may not misrepresent results from this site as official platform figures, scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others, or use the site for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The text, design and code of this site belong to ToolFees or its licensors. Short quotations with a link back are welcome — that is how the web is supposed to work.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be on this page with its date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
